Ariël Peper (Groningen, 1998) is a research-driven artist working with photography, analog darkroom techniques, mixed media and sound. Her work explores themes of feminism, inequality, social bias, and classism. Often sparked by a small moment of friction that leads to a deeper investigation.
While her projects are rooted in personal experience, they are not solely introspective. Instead, she aims to engage a broader audience, encouraging reflection and offering new perspectives. Rather than providing clear answers, she hopes her work challenges assumptions and creates space for dialogue.
